The purpose of this study is to summarize the congenital anomalies of the lumbosacral spine and exhibit the statistical data for these anomalies.
This study was done at 1152 candidates random sample of people which got the pre-employment examination of the lumbosacral spine in Hwa-Soon Coal Mining Company in Hwa-Soon Gun from 1965 to 1973.

8) OEt.oarthritic change. etc.
The order of frequency in significant anomalies is as follows.
Spina bifida of first sacral spine is the highest inscidense, 16.9%, next was lumbarization of first sacral spine, 9.9% thirdly, asymmetrical facets of lumbosacral joints, 8.1%, for:rthly, spondylolysis
and spondylolisthesis, 5.5%, fiftly, extrasegment 4.8%, sithly, sacrization 2.3%,
My statistical study has prohibit that spina bifida is the most common congenital anomaly of lumbosacral spine.
